Black women deserve an easy life.

I deserve an easy life and so do you. Black women deserve ease, joy, peace and fulfilment. This new year, I am prioritizing JOY above all else, and hustling and grinding was not bringing me joy. But how can we realistically do it? I took a two week break from creating content for YouTube, Podcasts and work and really struggles with being present. I got some pushback on my video, "Hustle Culture is Not for Black Women" and though I'm not changing my stance, I do want to explore the true meaning behind hustling and grinding. The world is used to Black women being exhausted and overworked, and it's time that we take time to actually LIVE and THRIVE. This is a love letter to Black women. This is a Black woman affirmation and permission slip to live fully, embrace living slowly and being more present.
